Group 2:

There are a handful of golfers I’m targeting in this range, but as always you can only pick one.

The 17-year old Brooke Henderson has been fantastic and is part of this young talented wave that you will find in the States and in Europe. Henderson has made the cut in her last six LPGA starts and has posted a win and three top five finishes. Not bad.

Henderson has acquitted herself very well in the majors as well as she has finished T-5 at both the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and U.S. Women’s Open.

She is going to be one to watch for the next several years.

I’ve been high on Alison Lee for this year. You might remember me taking her for a number of different tournaments this year back when she was a major value pick.

Now, she isn’t a major value pick anymore. She is up near the top ranked 29th in the Rolex World Rankings. With good reason, she has been on fire of late finishing inside the top eight in three of her last four tournaments. I won’t be taking her this week, but she should be a good pick up.

Lizette Salas hasn’t been great this year, but she has been consistently solid. She has made the cut in her last nine starts and has finished inside the top twenty-one in five of those tournaments.

You even have the likes of Anna Nordqvist, Karrie Webb, and Michelle Wie, but they have been struggling of late. Nordqvist has struggled in her last three starts, and both Webb and Wie has missed two cuts each in their last four starts.

Plenty to choose from, but my pick will be Shanshan Feng.

Feng may be the highest ranked golfer in this group, but it’s for good reason. She has been spot on this year finishing in the top ten in nine of fifteen starts. Plus, she has a good history at the Evian Championship finishing T-11 in 2013 and T-10 in 2014.
