GAME GOLF Makes a Big Move into Junior Golf

I was right on target! Here we are, less than a year later, and GAME GOLF has just been named the official shot-tracker of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, the largest junior golf tour in the United States!

With 2016 events scheduled in 28 states and player participation exceeding 20,000 junior golfers, the HJGT is going to put GAME GOLF to the acid test this year.
HJGT, based out of Jacksonville, FL, was founded in 2007 to provide junior golfers between the ages of 11 and 18 years an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Play is open to both males and females. Nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate in the Tour that hosts more two-day, nationally-ranked events than any other tour. Each Hurricane Junior Golf Tour event is ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS). Most events on the HJGT schedule feature a chance for players to earn AJGA stars.

But GAME GOLF is a whole lot more than a high tech toy for the juniors. Through the GAME GOLF LIVE system, golfers of all ages and skill levels can compare themselves to friends and even the best players in the world. New Strokes Gained data compares a player’s most recent rounds to a scratch player’s rounds to see how many strokes are lost driving, in fairway play, chipping or putting. The system goes one step farther than any other by providing SMART Tips that offer instant access to strengths and weaknesses and where to focus practice time.
Because GAME GOLF LIVE includes a powerful course rangefinder for mapping on Google Maps, Apple Maps and BING Maps, it can actually simplify play by eliminating the need for other devices. Editing data for accuracy and adding penalties are easy. All playing history and statistics are automatically backed up online.
The technology has another crucial advantage over other data-tracking systems. With established partnerships with the PGA of America and Golf Channel, GAME GOLF becomes the first and only wearable technology product that can be used in tournaments as permitted under the Rules of Golf by the R&A and USGA.
