Michelle Wie looks to have revived her game so I’m giving her a chance to fill out my fantasy team.

Su Oh, Megan Khang, Moriya Jutanugarn, Austin Ernst, and – improbably – Michelle Wie are on my likely picks list.

More from Fantasy Golf

There’s more to Su Oh than meets the eye. Playing her 2nd year on the LPGA Tour, Oh has made 3 starts and 3 cuts. This is her Founders Cup debut but the Wildfire track is not so very different from the Australian sandhills golf courses where Su Oh learned the game. She’ll feel at home.

This emerging Aussie player put some solid experience on her rookie year resume that included playing for Team Australia in the International Crown and, with Minjee Lee, representing Australia at the Rio Olympics. Don’t discount the importance of those two events as confidence-builders. Her game is maturing and she’s going to be a steady presence at LPGA events this season.

The same could be said of Megan Khang. With 2015 US Women’s Open low amateur honors and 2016 LPGA Rookie of the Year runner-up on her resume, Khang is also a steadily maturing athlete who’s going to be working her way up the leaderboards this year.

For various reasons Moriya Jutanugarn, Austin Ernst, and Michelle Wie also look like solid picks this week. With 4 starts this season that include a top 10 and 3 top 20s on her 2017 resume, Moriya Jutanugarn is off to a good start. Look for her to keep it up.

My Pick: Michele Wie

Austin Ernst and Michelle Wie are both playing hard to collect Solheim Cup points and Wie’s T4 finish at the HSBC Women’s Champions gives me reason to hope that she’s resuscitated her game, which has been on life support for the past 2 years.

I’m going to put Michelle Wie on my team this week for sentimental reasons, but any of these five would be a solid fantasy team pick.
