A look at the equipment Adam Hadwin used to capture his first PGA Tour win at the Valspar Championship.

Adam Hadwin seized his first PGA Tour victory at the 2017 Valspar Championship. The Innisbrook Resort Copperhead track showed what the Canadian can do with a set of Callaway sticks.

Hadwin began his final round with a four-stroke lead, distancing himself from the field. Still, it wouldn’t be an easy task for the Canadian to capture his first ever career win come Sunday afternoon.

Hadwin carded an even-par 71, 14-under total in his final-round as he squeaked past runner-up finisher Patrick Cantley by one-stroke.

The PGA’s newest champion outlived Cantley in an exhilarating battle which was knotted up going into the 18th hole. After Hadwin gave up a two-stroke lead on the Snake Pit’s16th hole after finding water with his tee shot, he dug deep and found a slice of perseverance to propel him to victory.

As both golfers were notched up going into the Par-4 18th hole, Hadwin took the upper hand after making a one-putt Par, something Cantley’s bogey couldn’t match.

With Hadwin discovering where there is a will there is a way, he spoke about his final round and his “snake bite” at the 16th hole, Per PGATour.com.

"“I just went out there today and stuck to what I do best, and just hit some quality golf shots, and really made the game super easy outside of hole No. 16,” Hadwin said. “I feel a little fortunate after that hole to be sitting here with you, but I’ll certainly take it and I can’t wait for everything that comes with this win.”"

Hadwin’s victory in Palm Harbor, Florida comes some hefty perks:  an automatic qualification for the 2017 Masters, a nine spot jump in the FedEx Cup standings, and a 47 place leap in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Hadwin became just the second player to win on the PGA Tour, the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada) and the Web.com Tour.

For much of the season he has been one of the top putters on TOUR, ranking third.

Adam Hadwin had a career tournament and now he has some hardware to show for it. Hadwin’s bag suited him well, especially his putter. This victory condenses everything that has happened on Hadwin’s season so far.
