By Sam Belden
Adam Hadwin — $6,900
There’s probably going to be at least one Masters first-timer who makes a surprising run at the title this week, and Hadwin has a great chance to be that guy.

The Canadian has been cruising through the 2016-17 season, and given the growth he’s displayed over such a short period, it just might be his time to penetrate the PGA Tour’s elite ranks.
With four top 10s on the 2017 season, including a victory at the Valspar Championship and a solo second at the CareerBuilder Challenge, Hadwin has finally delivered on the promise he showed as a top amateur all those years ago. As a result, he’s moved into the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time in his career. While he lacks experience at Augusta National, his sterling short game should prove to be a major asset this week, and he proved his ability to capture lighting in a bottle earlier this season at La Quinta, where he shot a Saturday 59.
Available at just $6,900 in DraftKings, Hadwin is a bargain play who at least has the potential to do something special this week. He’s worth a flier, especially for those of you with top-heavy lineups.
