More from Fantasy Golf

Alexander Levy is not the most expensive player in the PlayOn fantasy game nor is he the most high-ranked player in the Porsche European Open field, but he’s my choice to anchor my team because I think he has the best chance of playing for the win.

His missed cut at Royal Birkdale aside, the Frenchman is having a very fine 2017 season. He won the Volvo China Open in April and he’s recorded three additional top-20 finishes. He was looking good at the Nordea Masters and again at the Scottish Open.

Levy’s game has few weaknesses and he delivers it with a relaxed panache that’s rarely ruffled. Did I mention that he’s also the defending champion this week? Ah, let’s not overlook that fact, and the incentive he has to make this week a back-to-back fifth victory.
