BMW International Open: Power ranking the top ten players
If you can shoot 63 (with strokes left out on the course) on Sunday at the U.S. Open, you’ve got to believe you can take on anything, right?
That’s how Tommy Fleetwood should be feeling heading into this week’s BMW International Open where he is the cream of the crop. He’s at a career best 10th in the world thanks to his solo runner-up finish at Shinnecock Hills, his best finish in a major.

It’s the continuation of a fantastic year for the long-locked Englishman. He scooped up a win in Abu Dhabi in January and has five top-10s and just one missed cut.
He’s not just squeaking by when he makes the weekend, either. Fleetwood has finished T37 or better when playing all four rounds.
Fleetwood doesn’t have a sparkling resume at Gut Laerchenhof (T33 his best finish in three tries), but he’s clearly raised his game the last time the BMW came here.
The course appears to set up Fleetwood’s game well as he’s fourth in strokes gained tee to green on the European Tour and hits 77.2 percent of GIR (2nd). His proximity could be better, but there’s not much to the greens this week.
If not a win, bank on Tommy Fleetwood cashing a sizable check this week.
