Bryson DeChambeau is rested and ready to defend his John Deere Classic title. Two weeks away from competition shouldn’t do much to cool the hot season he’s having.

DeChambeau won the Memorial in May, was solo second at Bay Hill and has five total top-fives. He was also T9 in his last start at the Travelers Championship.
Like so many young up-and-coming players, DeChambeau is inspired to play well here because he got a sponsor’s exemption as a 21-year-old in 2015.
"“…it’s pretty special to win here,” DeChambeau said in 2017. “I’ve always loved the golf course first time I saw it, and then coming this year I was really excited because I was hitting the ball really well. Just needed a couple putts to fall.”"
DeChambeau is a positive in every strokes gained category, including 16th in tee to green (1.356). He’s an aggressive player coming in at 10th on Tour in birdies per round (4.18).
He has the length to take on the long par-5s and the drivable par-4s. Even a “B” week for DeChambeau could be enough to win back-to-back at the John Deere Classic for the first time since Steve Stricker (2009-11).
