The PGA Tour heads to Sherwood, instead of overseas, to play the Zozo Championship.

The Masters is officially on players’ radars, and fine-tuning is in progress. Some of that is going to be done this week at the Zozo Championship.

As with the CJ Cup, the tournament is not being played overseas but will be played in the states, and on the West Coast. You’ll notice a bit of a difference from last week’s picks, as there is no big favorite from the staff.

We’ve been reviewing the tournament, fantasy matchups, and some of its players so far this week. Now it’s time to see who the staff has picked to win.

More from Pro Golf Now

Here are the staff picks to win the Zozo Championship.

Xander Schauffele

Tim Letcher – He has been close in his last three starts, and he gets over that hump this week. The talented Schauffele gets another PGA Tour win, this time in his home state.

Kathy Bissell

Tiger Woods

Kasey Kuhrts – For my pick this week I’m going with the GOAT. Give me Tiger. With career finishes at this course since 2000 being 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 1st 14th, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 4th, 2nd. How could I pick anyone else? Throw the recent stats out, and give me the GOAT.

Justin Thomas

Jay Wilhelm III

Viktor Hovland

Richie Randolph

Collin Morikawa

Josh Chandler

Patrick Reed

Doug Hoff – Now, here’s a guy who’s been nipping at the heels of a win since the tour came back from shut down. To say Patrick is not liked by fans and golfers on tour would be an understatement. That aside, the guy knows how to swing a golf club and break one over his knee for that matter. After a recent top ten finish at the BMW PGA Championship across the pond and back to back top 15 finishes in the last two majors, Patty will be the one to take the win this week.

Jon Rahm

Chris O’Day – Rahm has been one of the best players on Tour for quite some time now. I know it’s backwards compared to last year, but i’m leaning towards taking Rahm for not just the Zozo Championship but for the Masters in a couple weeks.

Even though it seems like he has been around forever, Rahm. Part of it is having “Greg Oden face”, and looking a lot older than he actually is. I’m taking the young Spainiard to win this week.

Tyrell Hatton

Hans Geevers

Mike Randleman – In an excerpt from this week’s power rankings…

“Not only did he win the European Tour’s famed BMW PGA. He won it by four, ousting the likes of Patrick Reed, Matthew Fitzpatrick, etc. Hatton now has five top-25s in his last six starts. He impressively qualified for his first Tour Championship while playing a limited PGA Tour schedule. Hatton won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and placed top-five at Hilton Head and Detroit.”

Webb Simpson

West Valentine – I’m going with a bit of a long shot – Webb Simpson. Xander looks good, I love JT, but I think the really big guns are starting to look at Augusta and Webb probably is smart enough to focus on the present.
