Sepp Straka didn't take the easiest route to the winner's circle on Sunday afternoon at Philadelphia Cricket Club.

But with Shane Lowry making mistakes of his own down the stretch, Straka walked away with a victory at the 2025 edition of the Truist Championship, thus earning the biggest payday of his career and becoming just the second player to notch multiple wins on the PGA Tour this season, joining Rory McIlroy.

Entering the final round tied with Lowry for the lead at 14-under, Straka fell behind early after Lowry birdied the opening hole. But behind an eagle at the par-5 fifth and back-to-back birdies at the eighth and ninth, he held a two-shot lead at the turn, only to watch it disappear with back-to-back bogeys to open his second nine.

Justin Thomas kept himself in the mix with a first-nine 32 but couldn't keep things going on the back, ultimately tying for second.

Straka and Lowry each got to 16-under with matching birdies at the par-5 15th, but things fell apart for the former from there.

While Straka made a ho-hum par at the par-3 16th, Lowry missed the green off the tee and then watched his par putt lip out to fall one behind. Each parred the 17th, but Lowry dropped yet another shot at the 18th, thus allowing Straka to claim his fourth PGA Tour victory with a two-putt par.
