Farmers Insurance Open tee times, format, field, purse, how to watch
The PGA Tour continues its California swing with a trip to the magnificent Torrey Pines for the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open. Site of previous U.S. Opens and the annual home for one of the marquee events on the PGA schedule, Torrey Pines Golf Course in beautiful La Jolla, California, has hosted the PGA Tour since 1968. The Farmers Insurance Open presents one final opportunity for players who have not already qualified to secure their place in next week's signature event at Pebble Beach courtesy of the Aon Swing 5.
Last year's Farmers Insurance Open saw Frenchman Matthieu Pavon take home the trophy after earning his first PGA Tour win in just his third start after earning his membership. Pavon returns to defend his title in 2025 and despite a slew of withdrawals early in the week, this year's Farmers Insurance Open boasts a strong field with five of the top 20 OWGR-ranked players in attendance.
Like last week at The American Express, this year's field at Torrey Pines will take on multiple courses with each player teeing it up on both the North and South Courses at Torrey during the first two rounds before those who make the weekend play the final two rounds on the South again. Unlike last week's event in the Coachella Valley, the Farmers Insurance Open will once again begin on a Wednesday and end on Saturday to avoid running alongside the NFL's Conference Championship games on Sunday.
A strong field is ready to take on one of golf's most iconic venues once again, here is a look at all of the information to know ahead of this year's Farmers Insurance Open including tee times, this year's prize purse at Torrey Pines, how to watch all of the action, and more.

A cut will be made to the top 65 players and ties after 36 holes. The South Course will host the final two rounds of the event on Friday and Saturday.
The purse for the Farmers Insurance Open in 2025 is set at $9.3 million with this year's champion at Torrey Pines set to take home a winner's share of $1.674 million.
