The PGA Tour remains in Florida this week for one of the most anticipated events on the schedule, The Arnold Palmer Invitational at the famous Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida.

As the fourth signature event of eight on the docket for 2024, the Arnold Palmer Invitational has attracted an elite field to the Orlando area this week.

Current World No.1 and 2022 API winner, Scottie Scheffler, headlines this year's field alongside 2018 champion Rory McIlroy who has a stellar history at Arnie's Place. Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, Collin Morikawa, and Max Homa are just a few of the other big names in action this week.

Meanwhile, defending champion Kurt Kitayama will look to become the first back-to-back winner at Bay Hill since Matt Every in 2014 and 2015.

With no shortage of big names in action this week at Bay Hill, we are left with plenty of options for our DFS lineups this week. Let's break down some of the best options in each price range on DraftKings this week before finishing with our best DraftKings DFS lineup for the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Arnold Palmer Invitational DraftKings Picks: Top plays for DFS Lineups

Favorite High-End Plays:

Rory McIlroy ($10,600) - Three players find themselves north of the 10K range on DraftKings this week, Scottie Scheffler ($11,300), Rory McIlroy ($10,600), and Patrick Cantlay ($10,000). Paying up for the World No.1 is never a bad option, but on this occasion, Rory McIlroy is the pick. McIlroy has a stellar track record at Bay Hill with three Top 6 finishes in his last five starts. The Northern Irishman led the field in SG: Tee to green at last week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches and he hasn't lost strokes off the tee in any start this year. I expect that to continue this week and give him a slight edge over Scheffler in the putting department at this current time.

Jordan Spieth ($9,400) - There are plenty of excellent options in the 9k range on DraftKings this week but Jordan Spieth particularly stands out. Spieth has started 2024 with two Top 6 finishes in four starts and has recorded back-to-back Top 4 finishes in his last two starts at Bay Hill. He has gained strokes with his approach play in three of four starts this year and has been immaculate around the greens per usual, that ability to scramble in difficult conditions should prove invaluable on a historically very challenging layout.

Also Consider: Xander Schauffele ($9,800), Ludvig Aberg ($9,500), Max Homa ($9,200)

Favorite Mid-Range Plays:

Matt Fitzpatrick ($8,600) - It's difficult to overlook Matt Fitzpatrick's exceptional record at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in recent years. The Englishman has finished Top 10 or better in four of his last five starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the one year he did not he finished T14 (2023). The 2022 U.S. Open champion hasn't had the best of starts in 2024 but he did record a T21 finish at last week's Cognizant Classic following a 4-under 67 final round. He has gained strokes with his irons in each of his last two starts now and if he can blend that with his historically excellent short game he should be in good shape once again at Bay Hill this week. I trust he'll do exactly that and he is easily one of my favorite plays in the 8k range on DraftKings this week.

Also Consider: Will Zalatoris ($8,900), Cam Young ($8,700), Sahith Theegala ($8,100)

Chris Kirk ($7,800) - After disappointing a bit last week at PGA National and with a good amount of appealing options around him in the 7k range this week, there is a chance Kirk could go a bit overlooked in this spot. The 2023 Honda Classic winner missed the cut in the last signature event at Riviera and he hasn't finished higher than T18 in any start since his win at Sentry at the beginning of the year. That should change this week at Bay Hill as Kirk returns to a venue where he has been exceptional at over the years. He has finished T15 or better in three of his last four starts at Bay Hill and comes into this week having gained nearly one and a half strokes from tee to green over his last 20 rounds. Additionally, Kirk has gained strokes off the tee in all but one of his starts in 2024, something that will be crucial this week.

Also Consider: Corey Conners ($7,800), Adam Scott ($7,500), Keegan Bradley ($7,400), Kurt Kitayama ($7,300)

Favorite Low-Range Plays:

Nick Taylor ($6,500) - While not a massive fan of the 6k range overall this week with so many excellent mid-range options on DraftKings, the price on Nick Taylor certainly catches the eye. The Canadian comes in priced at the same point or lower than players including Denny McCarthy ($6,700), Cam Davis ($6,700), and Patrick Rodgers ($6,500), to name a few. None of the aforementioned trio has won recently, Taylor has. Nick is two starts removed from a win at the WM Phoenix Open and while his history at Bay Hill has been a bit hit or miss, he enters the week ranked fourth amongst all players in strokes gained approach. I'll look to take advantage of the cheap tag on Taylor this week.

Also Consider: Emiliano Grillo ($6,900), Taylor Moore ($6,300)

This lineup sets up nicely with four of the players we highlighted already and two other excellent options that provide a mixture of both high ceiling and floor. Starting with Cam Young who comes in at $8,700 on DraftKings this week.

Young ranks Top 10 in SG: Tee to green over the last 20 rounds and with his ability to crush the ball off the tee is a perfect course fit for Bay Hill. This is highlighted by his last two starts at Arnold Palmer Invitational with finishes of T10 last year and T13 in 2022. All signs point to another great week on the horizon for Cam who is fresh off a T4 finish at last week's Cognizant Classic. He has two Top 10 finishes or better in his last three starts and finished T16 at last month's signature event, the Genesis Invitational.

Keegan Bradley ($7,400) rounds out this week's lineup for us. He is one of a handful of excellent options in a loaded range on DraftKings this week. Bradley has finished T11 or better in two of his last four starts, this includes a runner-up finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January. He missed the cut at Genesis but that was mainly due to his putter which can go ice cold from time to time. Fortunately for Keegan, he seemingly hasn't had any problems figuring out the greens at Bay Hill over the last three years, Bradley has finished T11 or better in each of his last three starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

I love Keegan's chances of continuing that fantastic run of finishes at Bay Hill this week and wouldn't be at all surprised to see him in contention over the weekend.
