This year's Florida Swing concludes with the Valspar Championship. A well-respected venue hosting a significantly strong field promised an exciting finish to the PGA Tour's time in the Sunshine State. For some, this year's championship at Innisbrook's Copperhead Course may well be their final tune-up ahead of the upcoming Masters Tournament in April.
After the first three rounds of action, a handful of major champions were within touching distance of the leaders. 2022 PGA Champion Justin Thomas soared up the board on Moving Day following an impressive 6-under 65. Thomas would look to end a nearly three-year winless drought that dates back to his famous win at Southern Hills in 2022.
Thomas and other members of the chasing back would hope to capitalize on any mistakes by a trio of leaders who found themselves at the top of the pile after 54 holes at this year's Valspar Championship. Nico Echavarria, last year's winner of the Zozo Championship, Viktor Hovland, and Jacob Bridgeman all held a share of the lead going into the final round, tying the 54-hole tournament record.

Three 54-hole co-leaders is the most on TOUR this season and ties the most in Valspar Championship history (2013).
Whether it was any of the 54-hole leaders or a member of the chasing pack who secured the trophy, all were vying for a handsome payday. How much was on the line at the 2025 Valspar Championship? Let's take a look at the prize purse, winner's share, and complete payout breakdown by position at Innisbrook.
Valspar Championship purse 2025: Total purse and winner's prize money
The purse for the Valspar Championship is set at $8.7 million with the champion set to take home a $1.566 million winner's share, a sum that amounts to just under 20% of the overall prize purse.
This is up from last year's purse at Innisbrook and continues an upward trend with the prize money at this event seeing marginal increases of late.
While the amounts on offer might pale in comparison to what we have seen at Signature Events and last week's Players Championship, it is by no means the smallest purse of the year and is still a handsome payday for all involved.
Valspar Championship payout distribution by finishing position in 2025
In addition to the $1.566 million winner's share, here is a look at the entire prize money breakdown by finishing position for all 77 professional players who made the cut at the Valspar Championship.
Seventy-eight players made the weekend, of course, but Luke Clanton still won't receive a payout for the time being due to his current amateur status.

The prize purse for this year's Valspar Championship will rank amongst the lower-end of purses divvied out to fields this season. At $8.7 million, the purse matches what was seen at the Sony Open in Hawaii at the beginning of the year and comes in just shy of the $8.8 million that was at stake at The American Express in January.
The winner at the Valspar is the only player who will take home seven figures in prize money, however, each of the top 21 finishers will come away with six figure paydays for their efforts. In addition to a significant winner's share of this year's purse, the champion at Innisbrook will also earn 500 FedEx Cup points in the season-long race toward the Tour Championship at East Lake this August.
