Fantasy golf: Made in Denmark PlayOn team tips
Beef is my alternative to Thomas Pieters or Martin Kaymer or Thorbjørn Olsen or Søren Kjeldsen to head up the Made in Denmark fantasy team. He’s less expensive and I think he’s as strong as any of these guys when it comes to bringing a winning game to the tee.

Johnston delivered a very solid game at the Scottish Open and again at Royal Birkdale. He hasn’t hoisted a trophy since the 2016 Open de España but he’s been balancing European Tour and PGA TOUR events. I’m willing to give him a bit of a pass. He’ll come through with more victories.
The Himmerland track hasn’t been a regular stop for Johnston and he missed the cut here two years ago, but he’s bringing a more mature game to the tee this week. His work on the putting surface, in particular, has improved dramatically since that missed cut.
At 189th, Beef is well outside the FedEx Cup bubble so he’s wisely focusing his energies on the Race to Dubai. Look for him to turn on the heat this week.
You could spend more money for a player with a flashier resume but I don’t think that’s necessary. The Englishman can lead a Made in Denmark fantasy golf team to a win.
