Fantasy Golf: Sleeper DraftKings Selections for Bermuda Championship
By Kasey Kuhrts
In a no-cut event last week at the ZOZO, five of my six fantasy golf selections played all four rounds, due to Adam Scott withdrawing due to COVID-19. However, my selections were highlighted by Russell Henley, who finished in a tie for fourth. This week the tour heads to the Bermuda for the Bermuda Championship.
For the first time in a few weeks we will have a cut, which brings the skill of fantasy golf back into play. And in what can only be called a weak field, making the right selections this week will be as important as ever.
As always, check out Hans Geevers’ full-lineup picks that he posts each and every week. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play. You will find three of his selections on my sleeper list as well.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average DraftKings salary of $8,333. Finding value is the most important thing when selecting your lineup, so I hope to bring you some solid options.
Along with the key stats Hans will be looking at, I will be looking at strokes gained putting, greens in regulation, birdie or better percentage, par 4 efficiency 350-400 yards, proximity to the hole, and driving accuracy. Here are my selections:
Adam Schenk $8,100
Schenk is my only 8K selection this week, and it mostly comes due to his recent play.
Schenk hasn’t missed a cut since the Travelers back in June. In that time, he has made 10 straight cuts, including at the Workday and The Northern Trust.
So far this season, Schenk sits tied for 64th in birdie or better percentage and tied 95th in greens in regulation.
Wesley Bryan $7,800
If you have never read one of my articles, or listened to my show, welcome to the Wesley Bryan fan club. Every event Wesley plays, he finds his way into my article.
Wesley is ranked above the 6K range for the first time since his return to the tour, and rightfully so. Since his return to the tour at the RBC Heritage last season, Bryan has made five out of six cuts, and finished in a tie for 12th at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
So far this season, Bryan is 20th in greens in regulation, tied 28th in birdie or better percentage, 38th in strokes gained putting, and tied 67th in proximity to the hole.
I say it each week he plays, but Wesley has the ability to win every event he plays. He’s a must have this week in the Bermuda.
Jason Dufner $7,100
My second 7K selection this week is the 2013 PGA Champion, Jason Dufner.
Although he isn’t the same player he was when he won the 2013 PGA Championship, he checks a lot of key-stat boxes this week for me.
So far this season Dufner is tied 16th in proximity to the hole, 21st in greens in regulation, tied for 41st in par 4 efficiency 350-400 yards, and tied 54th in birdie or better percentage.
David Hearn $6,700
My first 6K selection, and a member of Hans’ list, is David Hearn. Hearn is off to a good start in the new season, making the cut at the Safeway and Corales Puntacana.
Hearn checks a lot of the key-stat boxes this week as well. So far this season Hearn is 15th in strokes gained putting and driving accuracy, 19th in greens in regulation, and 27th in proximity to the hole.
Michael Gligic $6,500
My second 6K selection, and another member of Hans’ list, is Michael Gligic. Gligic, like Hearn, is another guy you might not recognize by name alone, but I think his game fits well this week.
So far this season Gligic is 24th in par 4 efficiency 350-400 yards, 37th in strokes gained putting, tied for 46th in greens in regulation, and tied 85th in birdie or better percentage.
Gligic has made three of his first four cuts on the new season, and I think he makes his fourth this week in Bermuda.
