Who is going to win the 2020 Masters? The staff at Pro Golf Now gives you their picks to win a Green Jacket.

I can’t explain how excited I am. The Masters is finally here. This has been quite a crazy year, and even though it isn’t April, the Masters help us to forget about everything else going on in the world.

There are so many storylines going on that it’s hard to keep track of them, even though we’ve tried our darnedest. Tiger Woods is looking to go back-to-back, winning his sixth major and tying Jack for the most ever at Augusta. Can Dustin Johnson, the number one player in the world and runner-up to Tiger last year, finally find his first green jacket?

What about Bubba? He is looking to join rarified air as a three-time Masters winner. Then we have Beefy Bryson, who is looking to change the way the game is played, destroying golf balls and bombing his way through the course.

More from Pro Golf Now

It’s a bit different when it comes to a major for the picks that we make. Instead of a solo winner, each contributor at Pro Golf Now gives us five picks, at least two of which are ranked outside the top 30 in the OWGR rankings.

Let’s get to it. Here are the staff picks to win the 2020 Masters.

Chris O’Day – I really like DJ this year. He is the top golfer in the world, was supposed to win two years ago before “slipping and hurting himself”, and finished in second place last year. Schauffele seems primed to contend once again. Finau always plays well here, as does Bubba, arguably one of the greatest players when it comes to Augusta. Then there is Louis, who lost to Bubba in a playoff back in 2012. I like my squad to contend strongly at the 2020 Masters.

Bryson DeChambeau

Hans Geevers – If he had to go with one guy, it would be Bubba. It’s not just who wins, but putting together a lineup for who you think is going to compete, whether it is a fantasy golf lineup or a group of five for the staff picks.

Mike Randleman – Just because you put a guy at the top of your power rankings doesn’t mean you have to pick him for your Masters staff challenge… or even your second-ranked guy.

Justin Thomas
Matthew Wolff
Sebastian Munoz
Lee Westwood

Tim Letcher – Tim wrote about Rory this week, and his chances to win the 2020 Masters “There are a lot of factors in McIlroy’s favor this week. And he appears to be ready to finally avenge what happened at Augusta in 2011. On Sunday, look for Tiger Woods to place the green jacket on McIlroy for the first time, which will be appropriate as McIlroy joins Woods, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Gene Sarazen as the sixth player to win the career Grand Slam.”
